都会で働くサラリーマンは疲れ果てている。
その事を心の底から知る人は、田舎への憧れを持っている。
例えば、実際に都会に疲れ果てた人。或いは疲れ果てた父を見続けた人。
生計の目途が立つか、条件が揃った人は田舎を目指し多少の不便など喜びに比べれば全く気にならない。
今岡山の田舎に移住する若者が増えているらしいが、そこまで行かずとも都心から８０キロ、
或いは地方都市ターミナル駅から１０キロも離れれば、素晴らしい住環境が整っている。
素晴らしい住環境とは、自然、緑、空、空気。
ところが、地元の人はこの素晴らしさが日常になっているから、全くこの素晴らしさに気付いていない。
私はこの町に来た時「ハワイみたいだ！」と一目で気に入った。
ハワイと言ってもオアフのダウンタウンの方で、西側を北上すると小錦関が暮らした町がある。
団体ツアーで観光しただけでは知る事の無いオアフの素顔だが、まさしくそんな佇まいなんだな。
