枠にする木材を吟味に吟味を重ねようやく決まったので、また壁抜き工事の再開。
吟味した木材と言っても、特別な材を使うわけでは無く、使うのは1×6のホワイトウッド。
それでも、ホワイトウッド材のグレードがあり、グレードが高く肌が綺麗なグレード。
いつもは、何だが木材を選ぶのは気が引けるんだけど、今回は表に出る木だからそうは行かない。
木質も堅く綺麗な肌の木が偶然あったので、飛びつく様に4本購入。
枠は、下、上と入れ、左右を差し込む事で固定する。
左右の木の高さがキッチリじゃないとピタッと出来ない。
何度か仮組み。妻を使って右だ左だ、大騒ぎ。
上の木は後で垂れ下がらない様に3カ所たっぷりボンドを付け接着。
他もボンドで接着。
打ち傷が付かない様に当て木をして打ち込み、縦2本の木がきちんと入れば枠の出来上がり。
