このバラは、その色が気に入り微香タイプだが敢えて植えたバラ。
去年はバラを植えて初めての春。
咲くには咲いたが、カタログとはずいぶん違う感じの花だった。
苗は大苗を植えたから3年目の花だったんだな。
ところがビックリ。
今年の春は、まるで写真集に出る様な、展覧会の絵に載る様なと、
自画自賛したくなる様な綺麗な姿形。
なんとも微妙な色合い。思い描いた以上の花が付いた。
なる程、バラ作りの本に４年目にようやく庭作りの達成感を得られるとあったが、本当なんだな。
このバラは、バタースコッチと言うバラで茶系がかった色で、色と花の形の美しさが特徴だ。
微香性で香りは強くないが育ちが良く、四季咲きで花の付きも多いんだ。
春になるとバラだけじゃ無い。
イチゴだって出来る。
これも今年のお初。 四季なりなのでこれから秋まで楽しめる。
