我が家の近所の耕作放棄地に、5年振りぐらいに草刈りが入った。
8年前？と6年前ぐらいに2度程草を刈ったんだけど、その後桐も自生したり大変な状況だったんだ。
今回は本格的で自生した桐を切り取り、根をパワーショベルで掘り出し、草を刈る。
台風で倒れた杉を切り刻み、さらに奥地の竹林にも手を付けだした。
始めに切り倒した雑木はチョッパーで切り刻み平地に敷き、さらに作業で一体何人掛けたんだろう。
話に聞くと、山含め1000坪を超えるらしい。
実は、ココは南東を向いて開けた絶好地で、totoが当たれば買おうと思っていた場所。
今まで手付かずで放置されてたのに、竹林にまで手を入れるとは。土地が売りに出てるか何かだろう。
